Justin Timberlake has postponed his December 2 concert at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center following a back injury sustained during his performance in New Orleans. This marks the eighth show delayed this fall on The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which kicked off in April.
Timberlake’s Statement to Fans
The pop icon took to Instagram Stories to address fans, writing, “I’m so sorry, Oklahoma City… I hurt my back in NOLA, and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer. Thank you for your support – y’all know I hate doing this.” A new date for the Oklahoma City show has yet to be announced.
Tour Challenges and Reschedules
This latest postponement follows a tough fall for Timberlake, who canceled six concerts in late October due to bronchitis and laryngitis. Those shows, including stops in Columbus, Detroit, and Chicago, have been rescheduled for 2025. Additionally, a Newark, New Jersey, performance in early October was delayed due to an injury but was successfully rescheduled for the following week.
What’s Next for the Tour?
Timberlake is expected to return to the stage on December 4 in Houston, Texas. His Forget Tomorrow World Tour runs through December 20 before breaking for the holidays and resuming in January 2025. The tour supports his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year.
