“I raised my hand, I got called on by him, I told him I was going to ask out a crush. He invited me on stage and knighted me,” Chalamet recalled. “He said, ‘That boy’s hands been blessed,’ and honestly, from there my acting career took off.”
Chalamet credited Lil B for his meteoric rise, joking that his career “basically just included Royal Pains before that,” but after the Based God’s blessing, he found himself nominated for an Oscar by age 22.
