“Having done a number of Owl pieces for Drake, I was excited to work with him on a pendant of his alter ego,” shared Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, in an exclusive with TMZ Hip Hop. “Just as the cartoon holds more meaning than meets the eye, so does the pendant.”
The intricate piece, crafted from three kilos of gold and encrusted with 250 carats of flawless diamonds, features hidden surprises. The back showcases the tour dates of Drake’s Australian leg and even includes a secret compartment revealing the Toronto skyline, a subtle homage to his hometown.
Drake’s Anita Max Wynn Tour kicks off February 9, coinciding with Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans. The Toronto superstar casually announced the tour during a November livestream with xQc, marking his return to Australia after an eight-year hiatus. Stops include Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, wrapping up with two final shows in Auckland on February 28 and March 1.
The alter ego Anita Max Wynn first came to life during a December 2023 Kick livestream, inspired by Drake’s love of gambling and his partnership with Stake. The name, derived from the phrase “I need a max win,” reflects the rapper’s penchant for high stakes and big risks.
