Hailie Jade, daughter of rap icon Eminem, and her hubby Evan McClintock are about to welcome their first little one.
The podcast host, who tied the knot in May, kicked off 2024 by treating her Instagram followers to some sweet shots of her baby bump on Wednesday (Jan. 1). The 29-year-old shared some magical moments in front of a Christmas tree, including an adorable snap where McClintock planted a kiss on her belly while she beamed down at him.
“Things are going to look so different this time next year & we can’t wait, Happy New Year everyone!!,” wrote the mom-to-be in her caption.
The rap legend Eminem, who had Hailie with his former wife Kim Scott, made sure to be there for his daughter’s big day. He took on his fatherly duties by walking her down the aisle and sharing that special father-daughter dance moment with her at the wedding.
The soon-to-be grandpa Eminem let the world in on Hailie’s pregnancy through his “Temporary” music video back in October. The reveal came in a scene where Hailie gives him a blue jersey with “Grandpa 1” printed on it, dropping the hint that she’s expecting a baby boy.
Hailie Jade’s been keeping her podcast listeners in the loop about her pregnancy journey on Just A Little Shady. In an October episode with her man by her side, they shared their baby’s gender with everyone. She also spilled the tea about how she broke the baby news to her family, which was captured in the “Temporary” video.
“We picked the first [Detroit] Lions game of the season, which happened to be Grandparents Day,” Hailie shared about a minute into the clip below. “Our plan was to give my dad a jersey with ‘Grandpa’ on it, and it all came together perfectly.”
Since they were already shooting scenes for “Temporary,” Em thought his daughter was just poking fun at his age – until it clicked that he was actually going to be a grandpa. “Then I pulled out the ultrasound picture and he was like, ‘Oh my God wait this is real? Like, this is happening?'” Hailie remembered.
