Tom Holland proves he’s got superhero skills off-screen too.
During a recent chat with Men’s Health magazine, the Spider-Man: Homecoming star shared how he stepped in to break up a heated argument between two guys at a Whole Foods store in LA.
“They’re throwing down, right behind me,” Holland explained, sharing how he jumped between them and guided one guy away from the scene.
“I noticed he spotted who I was right away, and you could see him processing it – like he’s super mad, but Spider-Man’s telling him to chill out,” he mentioned with a laugh. “So yeah, just another day grocery shopping.”
Tom’s fame has definitely come with some perks. Zendaya shared a story about how her man dodged a traffic ticket simply because of his Spider-Man status.
“Tom and I were racing to make it to spin class with my mom,” she told Jimmy Kimmel in April. “We were pushing the speed limit since we were running behind. The cops figured out he was Spider-Man and let us off easy. They just gave us a warning and we were good to go.”
Holland is set to swing back into action as the web-slinger in an upcoming follow-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home next year.
