Shannon Sharpe is making it crystal clear he wants no part in the new sexual harassment claims against Skip Bayless and other Fox Sports staffers. During a recent Nightcap podcast with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, when a viewer brought up “the elephant in the room,” Sharpe shut it down quick around the 2:02:07 mark.
“That ain’t got nothing to do with me,” he stated firmly. “It doesn’t. What do y’all want me to say? That ain’t got nothing to do with me. So, there’s nothing to address. I don’t know why everybody keep—if you notice, everybody’s posting it, they got me.” He emphasized that the lawsuit doesn’t mention him doing anything wrong: “In those 42 pages, it doesn’t mention that Shannon Sharpe did anything. But y’all want to get clicks, so ya’ll mention me.”
The lawsuit, filed by Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji, targets Bayless and others at the network for workplace misconduct, sexual harassment, and retaliation. According to the New York Post, while Sharpe isn’t accused of any wrongdoing, there’s a detail about Bayless falsely claiming Faraji and Sharpe were intimate – something Bayless later apologized for in August 2023. The suit mentions that Charlie Dixon, Executive VP of Content at FS1, had told Bayless about the supposed relationship. Sharpe and Bayless co-hosted Undisputed from 2016 until 2023, when Sharpe left due to growing friction between them. The lawsuit also claims Bayless offered Faraji $1.5 million for sex back in July 2021. Faraji worked at Fox Sports from 2012 until last August.
