Demi Moore faced some heat after a viral moment at the Golden Globes seemed to show her brushing off Kylie Jenner.
The clip making rounds online shows Moore in conversation with Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet during the ceremony, as they congratulate her on snagging a Globe for her starring role in The Substance.
Kylie Jenner was sitting between Fanning and Chalamet and also offered congratulations, but some viewers noticed Moore apparently didn’t acknowledge her, sparking drama on social media.
Tallulah Willis rushed to defend her mom on Instagram, telling everyone to “quit hating and let her mom celebrate her big moment!”
Tallulah set the record straight on Instagram: “Hi @everyone but especially media folks, LET’S CLEAR THIS UP RIGHT NOW,” she wrote. “We rang in the new year with Elle, so naturally she connected with her after winning. Mom was totally overwhelmed with joy and surprise, moving through a room full of people wanting to congratulate her.”
She added: “There wasn’t any snubbing going on – if mom had noticed KJ trying to congratulate her, she definitely would have given her attention and respect.”

The special night marked a huge milestone for Moore, who at 62 took home her very first acting award – the Golden Globe for best actress in a musical or comedy, playing Elizabeth Sparkle in the horror flick The Substance.
