Post Malone spread some serious Christmas cheer with one lucky Houston bartender.
While visiting The Railyard Bar on Christmas Eve, he met server Renee Brown, who was working the late shift. In a chat with Music Mayhem, Brown shared how she was feeling down about missing holiday traditions with her nine-year-old daughter Iliana – until Posty turned her night around.
“Everything started really quiet, and I was trying to stay positive even though I was missing my usual Christmas Eve with my daughter,” she told the outlet. “We always bake cookies and watch Christmas movies together, and this was my first time missing it.”
The night took an unexpected turn when Post showed up with Shaboozey and his crew. “I didn’t even know he was there until a coworker from my other job came in saying Austin (Post Malone) was on the patio,” she said. “I thought it was a joke at first. I kept making drinks for like 30 minutes before I had to check it out myself – and there he was.”
According to Brown, Malone’s group had a blast, jamming to jukebox tunes all night. When other customers covered his tab, Post decided to leave Brown with an unforgettable surprise. “He asked me to ring him up for just a penny or something small, so I did. Later when I was counting my tips, I got to his receipt – it was for $20,000,” she revealed.
Brown admitted she broke down crying over the generous tip, saying it completely changed her life.
Post’s holiday spirit didn’t stop there – he also joined Beyoncé for the NFL Christmas Day halftime show, later thanking her for letting him perform “LEVII’S JEANS” with her.
