TMZ reports that Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber have gone their separate ways after dating for three years.
According to sources, the 33-year-old star of Elvis and the 23-year-old model/actress broke things off before 2024 wrapped up. Butler was noticeably missing from Gerber’s family New Year’s trip to Mexico, though insiders say the split was friendly. The pair first sparked dating rumors in December 2021, and engagement speculation followed in 2023 when Butler helped Gerber move into her new place.
While Gerber rang in the new year in Cabo San Lucas with mom Cindy Crawford, dad Rande Gerber, and brother Presley (who brought girlfriend Isabella Jones), Butler wasn’t in the picture.
Before Butler, Gerber dated Pete Davidson and Jacob Elordi. Butler previously had an eight-year relationship with Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 to 2019. Both had packed schedules in 2024 – Gerber starred in films Shell and Saturday Night, plus Apple TV+’s Palm Royale series, while Butler turned heads in Dune: Part Two and led Apple TV+’s Masters of the Air.
Butler’s also just signed on for Luca Guadagnino’s fresh take on American Psycho.
