Lily Allen got real about her personal struggles during her latest Miss Me? podcast.
The singer told co-host Miquita Oliver around the 19-minute mark that she’s taking a break from the show because she’s not in a good headspace.
“I’ve been talking about this for months now, but I keep spiraling and spiraling and spiraling, and things are out of control,” Allen shared.
She revealed she had a panic attack during the podcast’s Christmas lunch and had to leave, and recently ditched a movie with friends at intermission.
“I can’t focus on anything except this pain I’m going through,” she admitted. “And it’s really, really tough. I’m heading out next week. Listeners won’t hear from me for a while.”
Allen made sure to shut down speculation about drug use, addressing “nasty rumors” head-on.
“I know there’s been some awful blind items online claiming my husband found me in a crack den surrounded by men,” she said.
In an earlier episode, she’d opened up about feeling isolated and like she was “weighing down” the people close to her.
Sources told the Daily Mail that Allen and Harbour split after she discovered the dating app Raya on his phone – ironically the same app where they first connected.
The couple tied the knot in 2020, just a year after they started dating. Before Harbour, Allen was married to Sam Cooper, and they have two daughters together.
