Chloe Bailey’s keeping that Burna Boy romance talk alive with some playful responses.
On ‘The Breakfast Club,’ when asked about bringing a date to the NAACP Image Awards, she mentioned her godmother or manager would join – but when Burna’s name came up, she threw it back with “You should ask him.”
Co-host Loren Lorosa pushed about her recent Lagos trip where she was spotted with the “Last Last” hitmaker.
“Nigeria is so beautiful. I had the best time. I had some good food—I had pepper soup and lots of spicy chicken. It’s really good. I really had a great time,” she shared. When pressed about dating Burna Boy, she kept it spicy: “Well, I’m a grown woman…[and] he’s a grown man, just like I’m a grown woman…I had a great time in Nigeria.”
Fans got hyped when clips surfaced of Bailey and Burna cruising Lagos in a Lambo. The buzz got louder when they were spotted getting cozy at a club and holding hands another night. Then Bailey rocked Burna’s “ODG” chain, and social media went wild.
Before this, Burna’s last public romance was with Stefflon Don from 2019 to 2021. While Bailey’s been linked to several big names, she’s kept her love life private. She recently told ‘ESSENCE’ in December that her career comes first.
“I have always had baby fever, but I know I’m physically and mentally not ready to birth a beautiful child just yet,” she admitted. “I have a lot of things in my career that I want to accomplish first, and I still want to be a little selfish.”
