Offset’s not feeling Chrome Hearts’ vibe anymore.
The rapper, who used to rock with the brand heavy as both a fan and model, just called out Chrome Hearts fans on his Instagram story, posting “Yal n***as burning chrome out omg” with a pic of his unimpressed face.
Chrome Hearts has been a cultural icon since dropping in ’88. While it’s blown up with athletes and musicians lately, it’s always had love from fashion legends like the late Virgil Abloh and Karl Lagerfeld.
Offset’s comments come right after boxer Gervonta Davis shot his shot at the brand for an official deal. Davis hit up Instagram, tagging them with “@chromeheartsofficial I think it’s time for us to come to an agreement..Becuz my influence is crazy rn fam.”
And Davis ain’t lying. He’s been flexing Chrome Hearts hard on social media lately.
He recently had the internet buzzing when he posted a pic before his WBA super featherweight title fight with Lamont Roach Jr. While people clowned his ponytail, they couldn’t stop talking about the massive Chrome Hearts bean bag he was lounging on.
Before that, he rocked custom $100k Chrome Hearts kicks in his Frank Martin fight. Last year’s photos showed him with branded boxing gloves and a punching bag to match.
Was Offset taking shots at Davis? Who knows. But now we’re wondering if Davis still wants that Chrome Hearts deal.
