YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s freedom coming this July

YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s got a ticket home this summer after working out a plea deal.

The rapper, born Kentrell Gaulden, was facing heat for aggravated assault with a firearm in Louisiana plus pretending to be a doc to score prescription painkillers. Last year’s plea deal aimed to clean up both cases.

NBA YoungBoy copped a plea last September, admitting he had illegal firearms while shooting a music video in Baton Rouge.

The deal originally landed him 23 months inside, five years probation, and a $200k fine. He had to give up his weapons too – a Masterpiece Arms MPA30T 9mm and a Glock 21 .45.

Looks like his sentence got cut down though, counting time served until May 2024 – way earlier than the original deal had him getting out.

Back in November, he worked out another plea for his prescription fraud case, hitting him with a $25k fine but no extra jail time. That whole thing started when cops busted five people in his ride trying to pick up fake prescriptions.

Things got wild during his July court date when some ride-or-die fans crashed the WebEx hearing, going at Judge Spencer Walsh. “Free YB, man, free YB,” one fan yelled, ignoring Walsh’s calls to stay muted. “Shut yo bitch-ass up, man, free YB,” they fired back. More fans jumped in with “Free YB” chants, while someone mumbled “Shut up.”
