Ye Shows Off ‘Bully’ Hints With Old ‘Pablo’ Pic With Mike Dean

Are Mike Dean and Ye cooking something up for the upcoming Bully album?

Nobody knows for sure, but Ye dropped a major hint early Monday by posting a throwback pic on Instagram. The shot shows him and Dean sharing a handshake and smile during The Life of Pablo listening party at Madison Square Garden back in 2016. Ye tagged Dean and just wrote “Bully” with some eye emojis to stir things up.

Dean hasn’t responded to or acknowledged the post yet, which we’ve grabbed a screenshot of below.

The Bully campaign’s been running since last September, while Ye’s also been pushing his Vultures collabs with Ty Dolla Sign, including their fresh “530” video drop last week. Today’s Dean post isn’t the first time Ye’s brought up his former go-to collaborator while teasing his first solo project since 2021’s Donda.

Back in October, Ye shared some career flashback pics, with Dean featured in one of them. Dean later reposted that same photo. The producer’s worked with Ye from 2004’s The College Dropout all the way to an unfinished Donda follow-up in 2022. While he’s listed on Vultures 1‘s “Back to Me,” Dean’s apparently raised some eyebrows about that credit.

Dean’s also spilled some tea about a potential Bully track Ye previewed earlier. He’s calling that song, possibly titled “Beauty and the Beast,” just a “Donda leftover.”

Dean also linked up with The Weeknd in 2023, cooking up “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti and “São Paulo” with Anitta.
