Madlib’s house has been wiped out by the LA wildfires.
The iconic producer took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking update with a link for donations.
“With heavy hearts, we’re asking for help to support legendary producer Madlib and his family as they start over after losing their home, years of music, and equipment to the terrible LA fires,” read the post.
DJ Premier and Flying Lotus helped spread the word, sharing the Love Like Water donation link – a nonprofit that helps artists during crises.
“Another great Legend @madlib has completely lost his entire home and belongings to the California fires. A donation box has been set up. This is the only real link. Shoutout to Stacy Epps for pulling this together,” Premier posted on X.
Flying Lotus wrote on X, “Sad saddd. But it’s obvious, we need to help the legend MADLIB get back on his feet! If you can pitch in, please do.”
The fires in Southern California have claimed homes from several other stars too, including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Tina Knowles, Jhené Aiko, and Milo Ventimiglia.
