Sofia Vergara and Lewis Hamilton got people talking, but sources say they’re just friends.
TMZ reports the Griselda star and F1 champ grabbed lunch with friends in New York Tuesday (January 14). Photos show Vergara next to Hamilton wearing shades, and she was apparently “so engaged in the conversation she barely touched her food.”
But a source told TMZ they’re not dating – it was just friends hanging out.
It was “merely a casual lunch with a big group of friends in a group setting” and “by no means a date,” another insider shared with Us Weekly. While Hamilton’s dated Nicole Scherzinger and Winnie Harlow before, he was last linked to Shakira, who shut down those rumors in Rolling Stone last year. “I’m not thinking about that,” the singer said at the time. “What space do I have for a man right now?”
Vergara split from second husband Joe Manganiello last year after nine years together, reportedly because she didn’t want more kids in her 50s. When Manganiello denied this, Vergara told Variety last August she wasn’t sure what to believe.
“At the end of the day, you never even know if that’s what he said for real,” she told the publication. “I’ve read a lot of things that I’ve said that I’m like, ‘Huh?’ What am I gonna do, call him? I don’t know if he even said that.”
