Big Meech is about to make a splash with a massive “Welcome Back” party.
The bash is going down Feb. 13 at Miami’s Amerant Bank Arena. The lineup’s stacked with heavy hitters like Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Kodak Black – and they’re saying more big names are coming.
XO Touring and AG Touring are putting together this industry celebration for Big Meech.
The story goes – Demetrius Flenory, aka Big Meech, the 56-year-old rapper and BMF (Black Mafia Family) co-founder, got hit with a 30-year sentence back in 2008 for drug trafficking and money laundering.
Last October, he moved from behind bars to community confinement, and first thing he did? Got himself some fresh veneers. He’s set to walk free on Jan. 27, 2026.
Speaking to Vibe, his team pushed for “continued efforts toward criminal justice reform.”
“[Meech is] out, but millions more remain trapped inside—there’s still so much work to be done,” they stated. “We need to push for real change, for a justice system that recognizes the dignity and potential for redemption in every individual.”
The whole BMF saga got the Hollywood treatment in Starz’s Black Mafia Family, with his son Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory playing his old man.
