50 Cent Reacts to Old Video of Diddy Wanting Friendship: ‘Stay Over There, Playboy’

50 Cent’s back at it with his classic Instagram trolling.

Late Wednesday, he responded to an old clip of Diddy talking about wanting to be friends, right as the former Bad Boy boss sits in jail awaiting his May trafficking and racketeering trial.

“Me and him could be friends but he doesn’t wanna be my friend,” Diddy says in the footage. “I wanna be his friend so I can teach him everything I know so he could become a better money-getter, since I’m the No. 1 money-getter in the world. … Yo, 50. Please be my friend. 50, you’re breaking my heart. Curtis, please be my friend. Please.”

The edited Diddy clip comes from a longer 99 JAMZ YouTube video from almost 10 years ago, which you can check out below.

When 50 posted the clip Wednesday, he did his usual thing and plugged his Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi drinks.

“Nah something ain’t right,” he captioned it. “Stay over there, playboy. LOL.”

50 spent a lot of 2023 taking shots at Diddy on social media, which we covered in detail here. His 2024 started with a vow of celibacy, then he switched to clowning another old rival, Ja Rule. He also found time to poke fun at J. Cole, Drake, Luigi Mangione, and even ice cream prices.

Word is 50’s got a Diddy documentary coming to Netflix soon, though we don’t know when. Meanwhile, Diddy just slapped NewsNation and others with a $50 million defamation suit this week.
