Storm Reid hopped on the trend of LiAngelo Ball’s hit “Tweaker” in her latest X post.
Someone claimed they had a run-in with the Euphoria actress near USC, where Reid goes to school. This came up after Pop Crave broke news that she wouldn’t be coming back to the HBO hit show.
“The other day she literally almost ran me over with her scooter at the Trader Joe’s next to USC,” wrote one X user.
Another person chimed in with a “Tweaker” reference: “She just swerved and bent that corner smh.”
“Tweaker” has blown up on TikTok, landing Ball a sweet Def Jam Recordings contract worth up to $13 million and a spot performing at Rolling Loud LA. The track’s got that early 2000s New Orleans vibe, catching the ear of Southern rap stars Boosie BadAzz and MoneyBagg Yo, who’re both eager to hop on the remix.
About Reid skipping out on Euphoria‘s much-delayed final season, she told TMZ it came down to scheduling conflicts and her upcoming USC graduation.
Still, Reid promises she’ll be watching when the show drops next year. “Euphoria is always going to be a cultural phenomenon whether you like it or not,” she shared with TMZ. “People want to tune in. People want to see what’s going to happen with Ru, so I will be there.”
