2Pac Murder Suspect Keffe D Caught Up in Jailhouse Scuffle

Keffe D, the man charged with killing Tupac “2Pac” Shakur back in 1996, reportedly got into a heated fight behind bars.
TMZ reports that the accused killer, whose real name is Duane Davis, 61, went toe-to-toe with another inmate at Las Vegas’ Clark County Detention Center while awaiting his day in court.
The scuffle got intense with Keffe allegedly locking the other guy in a headlock, plus some serious wrestling and punch-throwing from both sides. Guards had to break it up with pepper spray. New court papers show Keffe D’s now got a prisoner violence charge on his hands. When asked about the fight days after, Keffe told an officer he was just defending himself.
Records dug up by ABC News show that on top of his existing $750,000 murder charge bail, Keffe’s now looking at another $50,000 for the battery charge.
Keffe’s been locked up since September 2023 when cops raided his Henderson, Nevada pad, finding magazines and photo collections about Shakur. They also found copies of Keffe’s 2019 book, Compton Street Legend, where he spills his version of what went down when Shakur was killed.
Keffe’s never been shy about admitting he was one of four people riding in the white Cadillac next to Suge Knight’s ride, where 2Pac was sitting shotgun when he got hit four times. Keffe points the finger at his nephew Orlando Anderson, who’s since passed away, as the shooter. Last year, things got wild in court when they played audio of Keffe claiming Diddy put up $1 million to take out 2Pac and Knight, according to The Sun.
Last June, Keffe tried to post his $750,000 bail before the trial, which is set for November 2024.
