Katt Williams is playfully suggesting white folks might have a tough time making it through Heaven’s gates.
The legendary 53-year-old comic, now touring with his 2025 Heaven on Earth show, dropped this bomb during a chat on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast.
About 3 minutes and 16 seconds in, Von and Williams got deep about his lasting love for comedy and how some comics feel they need to pack a message in their jokes.
“Do you notice that kind of tone shift in your desire to do it over time?” Von asked.
“I don’t think so,” Williams replied. “I always try to have a message just because I enjoy the fact that, while laughing and joking, you might learn something you didn’t know and have gotten it from a comedian and I kinda dig that.
“But everything else is just continuing this conversation with my fan base. Like, these are my friends that I haven’t seen since the last time I was here, and here’s our discussion furthering our relationship. So it hasn’t felt much like work,” he added.
When the talk turned to the “Heaven on Earth” tour, Von opened up about how hitting up a Black church in Louisiana opened his eyes to what Heaven might really look like.
“That’s when I realized, ‘Oh, everybody’s gonna be in Heaven,'” Vonn confessed. “That was the first time that I realized Heaven was going to be very diverse. I’d never thought about it, and it blew my mind. I was like, ‘Oh wow, they’re gonna have Black folks in Heaven, Asian folks, all types of folks are gonna be there,’ you know?”
Williams, who shared his belief in Heaven, cracked a joke saying, “And it’s truly the only place that white people are a minority is in Heaven.”
He threw in, “Just because thousands of years went with nobody getting to go just because of fuck shit that they might not have even been involved in, you know what I mean?”
During their chat, Williams gave Von a laugh by saying Black folks would feel “honored” if he came back in his next life as a Black man.
“There are certain things that go along with it that you just don’t know how you’d handle it until you got the dick of a horse and then you just gotta figure this thing out,” Williams teased. “Everything is different.”
The talk got spicy when Williams spilled tea about using sex as his workout routine, a sketchy run-in with Harvey Weinstein, and how he’s ready for whatever comes his way after calling out Hollywood bigwigs in his viral Club Shay Shay interview back in 2024.
