Ye showed off new music at a Tokyo club, including his take on Future’s “Lil Demon.”
In footage from WNTD Apparel founder Blu Boy’s Instagram Stories, Ye played his version of the song from Future’s 2024 release Mixtape Pluto. “Come fuck my wife with me,” he raps in the clip, seemingly talking about his partner, Bianca Censori.
At the same spot, Ye played another track that might land on his upcoming Bully album. “Might just pull up to the Met Gala in some Sean John,” he repeats in the preview. The line mentions Diddy’s fashion brand – interesting timing since Diddy’s locked up facing serious charges including racketeering and sex trafficking. Could be Ye showing support or throwing shade – who knows.
The Tokyo link-up between Ye and Dipset’s Jim Jones got people talking, with Ye rocking a Diplomats chain during their meet. Jones, who’s had a sneak peek at Ye’s new work, didn’t hold back the hype.
“This album so crazy,” Jones gushed. “I wouldn’t drop if I was y’all, or drop now ’cause when he drops, this is gon’ be a big problem. We not taking no for answers. We are the BULLY.” While Ye’s keeping quiet about when Bully drops, it’s expected to land sometime this year. It’ll come after his 2024 team-ups with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 1 and Vultures 2.
