Beyoncé dropping her tour plans for Cowboy Carter fresh off her Grammy victory
Hot off her Grammy night triumph, Bey hit up Instagram to announce she’s hitting the road to perform her latest album live. The Cowboy Carter Tour will roll through 22 cities starting in April, hitting major spots like LA, Chicago, Houston, and Atlanta before jumping across the pond for shows in London and Paris.
Cowboy Carter hauled in three Grammys out of its 11 nods – snagging Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. It’s Beyoncé’s first time grabbing the Album of the Year crown, and she’s now the Grammys’ all-time champ with 99 nominations and 35 wins under her belt.
“It’s very surreal,” Beyoncé told Entertainment Tonight after winning AOTY. “It’s been 25 years of just working really hard and trying my best to keep growing and keep opening up doors. So I’m just very honored, very honored. I’m happy that my daughter got to see that. … I’m so happy that she was here. And Rumi, who was on the album, my youngest daughter, she was watching. I forgot to thank her so I get to thank her now.”
