The ball’s in Plaqueboymax’s court after Timbaland showed interest in joining his In the Booth series.
During his Wednesday (Feb. 5) stream, while connecting with rising artists, someone suggested the super-producer link up with Maxwell Dent, aka Plaqueboymax. Given that the FaZe Clan creator makes music, produces, and hosts other artists on his In the Booth segments, it’d make sense to have Timbaland work the boards while Max spits.
“Somebody said I should do a stream with Plaqueboymax,” Timbo said in the clip below. “Yes, we should. Any of ya’ll know him? Send this out to him, ’cause yeah, we should. ‘Cause he do music and I’d love to be on his stream and do some music with him. Yeah, that would be dope.”
Max hasn’t answered Timbaland’s offer yet, but the Twitch sensation’s latest In the Booth guest was Wiz Khalifa, where they cooked up some tracks during a livestream. He’s also collaborated with Central Cee, ian, and BabyTron on the series.
Meanwhile, Verzuz might be coming back soon – following Timbaland and Swizz Beatz moving the battle series to X (previously Twitter) under a new distribution agreement last year.
