A security worker at a Clippers-Lakers matchup had an awkward moment when he didn’t recognize Travis Scott before grabbing him.
The UTOPIA hitmaker was at LA’s Intuit Dome on Tuesday night, and footage making the rounds shows his entrance onto the court. As he made his way in, a guard rocking a leather jacket yanked Scott’s sleeve pretty hard.
Scott played it cool though, just strolling to the opposite side of the court to say hey to another security guard.
The Houston native kicked it with Michael Rubin courtside while watching the Lakers dominate the Clippers 122-97.
Judging by his posts that night, Scott had his mind more on his upcoming Coachella headlining gig than the grabby security guard. He even reached out to college band players to join his performance.
Scott hit up X saying he had a “wild thought,” which seemed to set up his next message.
“Any hbcu or really any college with a band. Big or small. That stand to take on that horn arrangement from 4×4,” he posted. “I’m down to bring u with me to Coachella to do it with me. And posssibly figuring out a way to take care a semester cause college is hard. But music is fun. Show me something.”
Scott’s set to share top billing at Coachella this April alongside Lady Gaga, Post Malone, and Green Day for both weekends.
