Social media’s latest craze has put Fetty Wap back in the spotlight.
TikTokers are creating wild videos imagining what would happen if they blasted Fetty’s 2016 banger “Again” through a JBL speaker in random places.
People are making hilarious skits like showing pilgrims’ reactions to someone pulling up with some Fetty, or Iron Man confusing Captain America by copying his moves while bumping “Again” on a JBL.
Thanks to this viral moment, Fetty’s music is climbing back to the top. “Again,” which hasn’t been on the charts since 2016, is about to jump back onto the Billboard Hot 100 at #40.
While his music’s making a comeback, Fetty can’t enjoy the moment – he’s still locked up on a six-year bid for his role in a Long Island drug operation that got him sentenced in May 2023.
Some fans got excited thinking he was getting out early, but Fetty shared a message on his IG story setting things straight: “He’s not out yet. @fettywap1738 free you brother I love you!”
His release date is still set for March 13, 2027.
Last April, Fetty gave fans a peek into his prison life, posting a pic of him meeting someone inside and writing about brotherhood.
“You never no [sic] where life a take you but you find some good ppl along the way,” Fetty Wap wrote in the caption. “I got a few homies I met during my time down that’s real stand up niggas .. my brudda Tay Banga da Prez & Da Mobsta “
