Late DJ Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ Relatives Taking Legal Action Against Widow Allison Holker Over Book

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ mom and brother are gearing up to take legal action against his widow Allison Holker.
During a chat with Gayle King on CBS Mornings Tuesday (Feb. 12), Boss’ mother Connie Boss Alexander and younger brother Dre Rose spoke out about Holker’s buzzy new book This Far, which heavily features Boss. Alexander told King she’s having trouble buying the claims made about her son in the memoir. In This Far, Holker wrote about finding a “cornucopia” of drugs her late husband had stashed away, plus mental health struggles he dealt with before passing. The pair, who tied the knot in 2013, had two kids together, and Holker has a 16-year-old daughter from an earlier relationship.

On Wednesday (Feb. 12), Boss’ relatives dropped a statement on Instagram calling out “misleading accounts and inconsistencies” in Holker’s book.
“As a family, we have repeatedly shown compassion toward Allison despite her disrespectful and evasive actions since Stephen’s passing,” the statement continued. “Her portrayal of Stephen appears to reshape the story into a narrative that aligns with her perspective. These statements, along with her insensitive opinions about mental health, add unnecessary hurt during an already difficult time.”
The family wrapped up saying they’ve “decided to seek legal counseling to examine this matter,” linking to their GoFundMe in the caption. They’re aiming to raise $250,000 to cover legal costs and other expenses.
“Stephen was a light in our lives and deserves to be remembered with dignity and truth,” states the fundraiser’s description.
Holker has stood by her work, saying the book aims to “celebrate the love and life” of her late husband and their children.
