Right after ASAP Rocky’s verdict came down Tuesday, Rihanna hit Instagram with a heartfelt message.
The superstar took to her Story to share her joy, writing: “The glory belongs to God and God alone!” before adding, “Thankful, humbled by his mercy!”
A jury cleared Rocky of both felony assault charges with a semiautomatic weapon after a month-long trial.
When the verdict dropped today (Feb. 18), Rocky almost lost his balance from the shock, then leaped up to wrap Rihanna in a huge hug while the courtroom erupted in cheers.
Looking at the jury, Rocky got emotional: “Thank y’all for saving my life.”
Rihanna’s been riding with Rocky through the whole trial, even bringing their boys RZA and Riot to watch the closing arguments a few days back.
Viral clips showed Rihanna rolling up to court rocking a black leather jacket, with security keeping her dry under an umbrella in the rain.
She first showed up to support Rocky back in January when the trial kicked off.
