Ne-Yo’s not backing down from anyone who’s got something to say about his poly lifestyle.
Since his 2022 split from Crystal Renay – who called him out for cheating – the 45-year-old R&B star’s been living life on his own terms, stepping out with multiple partners and speaking his mind about dating.
But it was a recent backstage clip that really got people talking, showing the three-time Grammy winner kissing three different women. Even Meek Mill, 37, couldn’t hold back his reaction.
“OG said that’s crazyyyyyy! Lol,” Mill posted.
Ne-Yo didn’t clap back directly at the Dreams and Nightmares hitmaker, but he let everyone know what he thinks with a fresh message on his Instagram Story Wednesday.
“Them: ‘NEYO WE DON’T APPROVE OF YOUR POLY RELATIONSHIP!!'” Ne-Yo wrote over a black-and-white selfie shot at an angle. The pic catches his slight smirk while showing off his T-shirt with the message “Fun fact: I don’t care.”
Opening up on Lemon Drop with Karleen Roy last November, Ne-Yo spilled that he’d been hiding his real self for years.
“Society tells you that you’re supposed to be with one person. You get married and y’all supposed to be together forever,” he said. “I am not shitting on marriage. I’m not shitting on anyone who has figured out how to make that thing work for them. Again, everything’s not for everybody. Monogamy is for you. It’s not for me.”
