XXL caught the moment when the 6 God spotted someone in the crowd waving a sign that read “Rock-paper-scissors to buy my dad a birthday car.”
The rapper, feeling playful, took up the challenge, bragging about his rock-paper-scissors skills.
He crushed round one with paper, but decided to give the fan another shot.
“I’ll give you one more,” he said. “Think about it. 1, 2, 3…”
The fan held their own for two more rounds, keeping it neck and neck, but Drake sealed the deal in round four.
“You lost again,” Drake announced after throwing rock, getting laughs from the crowd.
But here’s the best part – even though Drake came out on top, he still showed love.
“I’m still gonna give you $20,000 so you can buy your dad a car,” he declared. “Don’t ever fuck with me on rock-paper-scissors, though. I will win.”
All this went down at Drake’s Sydney show on February 19, not long after he and PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped their collab project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
Looks like that money-themed title’s got fans shooting their shot with cash requests. People are showing up with all kinds of signs like “Fund Matteo’s first holiday,” “Papi, help pay off my mum’s mortgage,” “Need $$$ 4 my bachelorette party in Ibiza,” and “Help my BF buy me an engagement ring.”
Just days ago, Drake also had a moment with someone in the crowd who said they were almost five months pregnant.
“I saw a sign that somebody said they were 20 weeks pregnant in the pit,” Drake said in the mic. “Get your ass outta the pit. Yes. Are you 20 weeks pregnant? Get outta the pit. Get outta there. Get the camera on her. Get that baby out of the pit ASAP.”
But Drake made it worth their while – hooked them up with VIP seats and dropped $30K on them right there.
