Here’s what MrBeast has to say about iShowSpeed’s chances of getting close to his idol.
During a chat on the Clickbaited podcast with Dexerto’s Mike Kent, the 26-year-old YouTube king talked about Ronaldo breaking his monthly subscriber record and shared his own experience filming with the 40-year-old soccer legend.
Around 51 minutes into the video, Beast spilled that he thought Ronaldo would barely give him any time. He even joked they might have to film while Ronaldo was on his way to the bathroom.
But Ronaldo totally surprised him by being super chill, telling Beast’s crew to take all the time they needed, and even inviting him to hang at his place afterward.
“We chatted off camera a lot and just hung out. It was just, like, not what I was expecting. I felt like he treated me way better than I ever imagined, very respectful, very giving of his time, and it was a really good experience, to be honest,” Beast recalled.
The conversation then turned to 20-year-old iShowSpeed and his famous Ronaldo superfan status.
“I mentioned Speed and he knew who Speed was, obviously. He’s seen it and they met briefly for a couple of seconds at one time, I believe,” Beast said.
