Offset is ready to make specific moves in his divorce from Cardi B.
TMZ reports that the Migos member wants to share joint legal custody of his and Bardi’s three children, and agrees her place should be their main home. He’s asking the court to spell out each parent’s child support obligations.
He appears to be aiming for a clean break, also requesting the court divide their marital assets and that both he and Cardi cover their own legal fees.
Cardi filed for divorce last summer, describing their split as “amicable.” While the former couple have shown up for each other—like Cardi attending Set’s 33rd birthday bash in Miami last December—they’ve also publicly blasted each other online.
A few days after the party, Offset got mad when Cardi called him a “fan” and people online accused him of “stalking” her after posting a photo he took of her at his celebration.
“It ain’t the look u a fire [woman] good music but you focus on dick and tryna make me look bad focus bra this shit is whack from us both honestly,” he tweeted at the time.
She then made it crystal clear that Offset hadn’t yet signed their divorce papers.
“You sound like a dummy.. trying to be fake nice after you did what you wanted from the beginning trying to push a narrative to these people. Congratulations!! Fuck off and sign the papers TODAY.”
More recently, Offset seemed to call out Cardi on his newest track, “Ten,” where he sings, “You gon’ have to fuck ’bout 10 more n***as to get over me.”
The former pair married in 2017 and during their relationship welcomed three kids together: a 6-year-old daughter, Kulture, a 3-year-old son, Wave, and a 4-month-old baby girl.
