Cam’ron Expresses Regret to Ochocinco, Admits Overstepping on ‘Nightcap’

Cam’ron has finally apologized to Chad Ochocinco, but not without delivering one last subtle dig.

On the recent episode of Talk With Flee, Killa Cam addressed the ongoing tension between himself and Ochocinco. The Harlem native acknowledged that he might have taken things too far and clarified there was no real beef between them.

“After I looked at it, I was like, ‘Yo, I did kind of go hard on Chad,'” Cam said. “None of this is personal, first and foremost. I have no beef with Shannon Sharpe or Chad Ochocinco. I just wanted to say if I went a little bit hard, I apologize.”

He added that he’s “a little bit sorry” for his comments toward Ochocinco before explaining the Nightcap podcast’s dynamics. According to Cam, while he respects the podcast crew’s work with agents, he prefers handling deals independently to get exactly what he wants.

Despite showing appreciation for the Nightcap podcast, Cam couldn’t resist throwing a bit of shade, suggesting Ochocinco isn’t the star of his own show. He acknowledged the podcast’s success but emphasized that it can’t compare to his own platform, pointedly noting that Ochocinco is “not the main attraction.

“You guys are doing a great job. I’m not hating on your show or whatever but I’m doing a spectacular job. I’m that guy that’s why you mentioned my name in the first place,” Cam said. “You’re doing really good Chad, I’m proud of you, but you’re not the main attraction on your show. You’re the coleslaw that comes with the meal. You relish, you anchovies. Shannon Sharpe can do this without you, even though you’re a good addition.”

Cam concluded his critique by saying he loves Ochocinco and hoped his words didn’t offend him too much. However, he continued to playfully refer to Ochocinco as a side dish.
