Meek Mill Challenges Person Who Called Him ‘Slow’ to ‘Compare Lives’

Meek Mill has challenged a recent critic who labeled him “slow” to compare their lives, pointing out that he has both money and respect to his name.

In a recent post on X featuring a photo of himself with Jay-Z and Michael Rubin, among others, Meek shared his personal approach of usually choosing to wear hoodies instead of formal attire when asked to make public appearances. According to Meek, he does this so that “they see me as a Black man from the streets.” When posting the photo, Meek also referenced Trayvon Martin, who was wearing a hoodie when George Zimmerman fatally shot him in Florida in 2012.

In response, an X user commented, “This n***a a special kind of slow.” Meek didn’t ignore this, quickly suggesting they simply compare their lives “in front of the world,” a comparison he’s sure will show him in a better light.

“I have millions in my bank account, respected by the streets and the wealthy, with over $30 million raised to fight the system with reform,” Meek stated, adding that he also owns several homes and consistently provides support to his community.

“Let’s compare lives right here in front of the world lol,” Meek said.

In a follow-up post, referencing a Birdman quote, Meek expanded on his thoughts, sharing that the first time he saw a Black man wearing a suit was “in a casket.”

Meek has just recently made a guest appearance on Fridayy’s track “Proud of Me,” where he opens up about how deeply he misses his father who passed away. According to Meek, the heartfelt lyrics came as a surprise to his mother, who “didn’t even know I felt like this” until she heard the song after its release.
