Cori Broadus welcomed her baby earlier than expected.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter shared the news on Instagram with a black and white photo of her newborn’s foot, writing, “The princess arrived at 6 months.”
Expressing her emotions, she added, “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me!”
Cori also revealed that her daughter was born at 25 weeks, saying, “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far.”
At 25 years old, Cori Broadus gave birth three months early due to a high-risk pregnancy. As reported by Page Six, her newborn, born prematurely, was immediately taken to the neonatal intensive care unit.
Broadus also shared on her Instagram Story that she underwent a C-section, describing it as a “success.” She explained that she had visited her doctor last week, initially believing she “had a bad case of gas,” only to discover she had developed HELLP Syndrome—a condition that affects the liver and blood system. She noted that it is “very severe and can even cause death if untreated.”
Back in December, she announced she was expecting her first child with her fiancé, Wayne Deuce. Speaking to E! News at the time, she shared, “This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed.”
