The Owen Wilson-led Rolling Loud movie has expanded its cast, adding Ty Dolla Sign, Sexyy Red, and more

The upcoming film Rolling Loud has expanded its cast.

The comedy, starring Owen Wilson and Matt Rife, has added Ty Dolla Sign, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Henry Winkler as guest stars, according to Variety.

Currently in production in Atlanta, the film features a scene shot at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami in December 2024. Based on a true story from writer and director Jeremy Garelick, Rolling Loud follows an overprotective father (Wilson) who tries to impress his 13-year-old son (Christian Convery) by sneaking him into the festival. What starts as a simple plan turns into a wild adventure involving the dad’s co-worker (Rife) and a festival volunteer (Christine Ko).

Sexyy Red’s involvement in the film seems fitting, as Wilson has already shown admiration for her. The St. Louis rapper acknowledged the actor last year when a clip of him watching her Rolling Loud set in Miami went viral. In the video, Wilson was seen captivated during her performance of Hellcats SRTs from her 2023 Hood Hottest Princess project.

“Dats my baby Owen,” Red wrote on X in response.

Sexyy Red and Ski Mask the Slump God are set to perform at Rolling Loud’s California festival on March 15 and 16, alongside headliners ASAP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Peso Pluma.

Rolling Loud is scheduled for release in 2026.
