Jay-Z Sexual Assault Accuser Reportedly Admitted to Private Investigator She Fabricated Allegations

Fresh legal documents from Jay-Z’s legal team allege that the anonymous woman who accused him of rape fabricated the entire story.

According to an affidavit filed Wednesday and obtained by Complex, private investigator Charlotte Henderson claims she met with Jane Doe in Alabama on Feb. 21.

During their conversation, Doe allegedly confessed that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, “pushed” her to implicate Jay-Z when she originally only wanted to sue Sean “Diddy” Combs for an alleged rape in 2000.

“He was the one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with Jay-Z,” Doe reportedly said, according to Henderson’s affidavit.

Doe apparently also admitted that while Jay-Z was at the party, he “did not take part in any sexual assault of Ms. Doe.”

Buzbee filed a civil lawsuit accusing both Jay-Z and Diddy of sexual assault back in December.

Shortly after media outlets reported inconsistencies in Doe’s account as highlighted by Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, Doe dropped her lawsuit in February with prejudice, meaning she can’t refile in the future.

Henderson’s meeting with Doe happened a week later, during which Doe allegedly claimed Buzbee told her Jay-Z was “threatening to kill her in response to her lawsuit,” which scared her into withdrawing the case.

Doe reportedly stated four times that Jay-Z never assaulted her, and she allegedly asked how signing an affidavit would help her situation.

Henderson also noted she wasn’t hired by Jay-Z or his legal team for this investigation.

Another investigator, Ian Pillinger, filed an affidavit claiming Doe has “a legally-documented history of mental health issues” that supposedly resulted in her losing custody of her children.

The conditions Doe reportedly suffers from include bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychogenic nonepileptic seizures, and a “history of auditory hallucinations.”

According to the affidavit, Doe spent time in a mental health facility before Buzbee sent a demand letter to Jay-Z and has recently been seeing a psychologist.

Jay-Z is now suing Buzbee for extortion and has filed a separate lawsuit against Doe for malicious prosecution.

In a statement to the outlet, Buzbee insisted that all allegations against him are “flat out false and made up.”

“Jane Doe called referring counsel, the Ava Law Group, and alleged she was assaulted by PDiddy and Jay Z before her case was EVER referred to our firm. That’s indisputable,” Buzbee stated.

He added, “None of the actual documentation supports that false story that Jay Z’s team is trying to sell the public.”

As previously reported, Doe claimed in her December lawsuit that she was brought to a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards by a limousine driver connected to Diddy. Doe alleged she was given a drink that made her “woozy” before being assaulted by both men.

Doe’s lawsuit was initially filed in October, but at that time only named Diddy. The complaint was later amended to include Jay-Z.

Jay-Z denied the lawsuit’s claims while calling the allegations “heinous” and Buzbee a “deplorable human” in a statement shared through Roc Nation’s social media accounts at the time.
