Tory Lanez Reveals He Yearns for Iggy Azalea ‘Wrapped Around My Body’ on Recent Release

Tory Lanez expresses longing for Iggy Azalea’s attention on his fresh track “9$IDE x Amethyst” from his newly dropped album Peterson.

In the song, Lanez directly mentions Azalea’s stage name before using her birth name and pleading with her to reach out to him.

“It be nights I want to talk to Iggy, but she blocked me,” he sings. “Amethyst, if you ever hear this shit, shawty, call me/You know that I’m always makin’ spicy bitches salty.”

Lanez then expresses regret for any harm he’s caused her. “I miss when you wrapped around my body like a tall tee/New me come correct because the old me was the wrong me/Old me cuss you out, the new me disrespect you calmly,” he continues.

On another song, “Guide Me Through the Storm,” he raps, “County jail crying real tears to Iggy Azalea / I know you put up with some shit that just wasn’t familiar / I loved your ear and loved your heart though you wasn’t Amelia / They lying, trying to get me fucked, but I wasn’t Cecilia.”

Back in 2023, Azalea penned a letter to Lanez’s judge before his sentencing where she stood up for his character. “Daystar Peterson is not the pest you have heard about, he’s a gardener. He helps others bloom,” she wrote. “Any leniency you may afford him would be something you could be proud of.”

“I know him to be someone who’s always bursting with happiness,” she added. “In the moments you want to cry. If you call [Daystar], he will find a way to make you laugh.”

After her letter leaked publicly, Azalea clarified that she hadn’t been in contact with him for months, but wished him the best. “I don’t ‘support’ anyone,” she wrote. “The whole thing is full of oddities. My letter never mention anything in regard to what happened that night.”

Azalea then made it clear that she did, however, back prison reform. “I am not in support of throwing away ANY ones life if we can give reasonable punishments that are rehabilitative instead,” she added.

Elsewhere on the album, Tory doubled down on claims he made in an ethics complaint on the track “Verdict Day.” He rapped that his lawyer “left me like she left Kevin Liles” while also claiming the lawyer was “in bed with my opposition.”
