Ice Spice announces she’s “thick again” in her latest song preview.
In a Tuesday (March 11) clip, the rapper twerked while performing her upcoming track near the Eiffel Tower in Paris. During the 30-second teaser, Ice sported straight ginger hair, a cropped moto jacket and plaid pleated mini skirt.
“She got thin but she wanna get thick again,” she rapped, likely referring to herself. “Shawty got back on her oats/ He stay on my body it’s hard to get rid of him/ He know that I like him the most/ He takin’ me out and he’s spendin’ a lot/ I be in Louis and Lenci a lot.”
The song marks Ice Spice’s first release since “Hannah Montana” featuring NLE Choppa and DaBaby on Y2K!: I’m Just a Girl, the deluxe version of her debut album.
The teaser comes after Ice Spice addressed online critics who targeted her weight loss, claiming she lost her appeal. Last December, the Bronx rapper posted a SpongeBob Squarepants meme on Instagram Stories, dismissing those who call her “mid.”
While on her Y2K! World Tour, Ice stayed fit and showed fans her gym routine on TikTok, proving she doesn’t use Ozempic. Last August, she jumped on an X Spaces chat to blast “lazy ass bitches” who claimed she was taking the weight loss drug.
