Maui Top Cop Rejects Accusations of Helping Diddy in Alleged Sexual Assault After Being Named in Legal Case

Maui Police Chief John Pelletier has denied allegations from Ashley Parham’s amended lawsuit claiming he conspired with Diddy during an alleged sexual assault.

Parham’s lawsuit alleges Pelletier posed as a local sheriff while working security for Diddy after she was gang raped by the music mogul and others, including Odell Beckham Jr and Druski, at a 2018 incident in Orinda, California.

According to Parham, she was targeted by Shane Pearce, Diddy’s associate, after suggesting Diddy was behind 2Pac’s 1996 murder.

She claims after escaping the assault at Pearce’s apartment, Pelletier responded to a noise complaint but offered no medical assistance or help retrieving her belongings.

In a Wednesday statement to TMZ, Pelletier firmly rejected the accusations, calling them “entirely unfounded.”

“I am confident that the evidence will demonstrate these claims to be false and will expose those who are deliberately trying to manipulate the legal system to spread misleading narratives,” Pelletier said, highlighting his sexual assault prevention work and 2018 Rape Crisis Center recognition.

“These baseless allegations not only are wrong but also show a lack of respect for victims of abuse, whose voices deserve to be heard and supported with compassion and integrity,” he added.

TMZ reports Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen has requested Pelletier be placed on administrative leave pending investigation.

Both Beckham Jr. and Druski have issued statements denying Parham’s allegations against them.

“This allegation is a fabricated lie,” Druski posted on X Sunday. “I wasn’t a public figure in 2018. I was broke living with my mom without any connections to the entertainment industry at the time of this allegation, so the inclusion of my name is truly outlandish. My heart breaks for actual victims of abuse, but l’m fully confident that the evidence will expose this falsehood and the individuals who are maliciously trying to game the legal system to peddle false narratives.”

“I have been informed of the allegations about me in a suit in CA,” OBJ wrote in his Monday statement. “I really can’t even believe that my name is mentioned in that matter. There is absolutely no truth to those allegations.”

“I do not know and have never met the person that filed the suit,” he added. “I was not anywhere near Orinda, CA at that time. In fact, I don’t think I have ever even been to Orinda, CA. I have never done anything like that, and I would never do anything like that to anyone. I’m confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed.”

A spokesperson for Diddy’s legal team slammed the accusations against him as “a fabricated lie” in a Monday statement.

“This new complaint – brought by an attorney who has already been sued for defaming Mr. Combs – demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday,” the rep stated. “Mr. Combs was nowhere near Orinda, California on the day Ms. Parham claims she was assaulted there, and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department has already confirmed Ms. Parham’s claims were determined to be unfounded following a thorough investigation.”
