Justin Bieber opened up about his emotional struggles in a recent Instagram Stories update on Sunday.
The pop star, rumored to be preparing new music, reflected on childhood lessons “not to hate.” He shared that this messaging made him feel “like I wasn’t allowed to have it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it.” Bieber explained that suppressing these feelings left him “drowning.”
He offered insight: “I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there,” adding, “How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”
His post featured SZA’s SOS track “I Hate U” playing in the background.

Later, Bieber played Chris Brown and Young Thug’s Slime & B track “Go Crazy” while seemingly addressing social media speculation about him: “If they aren’t talking shit, u must not be goin brazy enough.”

Also this weekend, JB hit Disneyland with Hailey Bieber (mother of his child born last August) and recent collaborator The Kid LAROI, who featured on Y2K. Before the trip, he shared another heartfelt Instagram message admitting he often feels “unworthy” and “unqualified” despite his clear success.
If Bieber drops a new album in 2025, it’ll be his first since his 2021 chart-topper Justice. While nothing’s been officially announced, all signs point to something brewing in the Bieber camp.
