Diddy Shows Support for Ye During Jail Call: ‘You Got That F*cking Freedom’

Diddy reached out to Ye from jail to offer encouragement and express gratitude for his loyalty.

In a leaked call shared by The Shade Room on Monday, Diddy urged Ye to reconnect with his creative side and enjoy making music again amid what he described as increasingly negative circumstances.

“I need you out there you feel me,” Diddy said. “Have some fucking fun n***a. We not having no fun and get behind the mic, have some fun. Chop up them samples, and get back on your hitman vibe. Have some fun. Get back to smiling. Fuck these other motherfuckers. They are wasting your time.”

He continued, “Put that love in your heart, man, and enjoy yourself man. When I get out there, man, I want to see you fucking tear down the stadiums. I need to see you back on that stage, fucking actually rapping and performing and everything. I be dreaming of that shit.”

Ye responded that he feels “in love” with music again after a frustrating period. Diddy encouraged him to focus on happiness now, saying there would be time later to “fight these motherfuckers.”

Diddy chatted with Ye from jail, encouraging him to focus on joy and creativity while expressing appreciation for Ye standing by him during his troubles.

Diddy mentioned wanting Ye to play him beats before his trial begins to lift his spirits. He reminded Ye to appreciate his freedom and thanked him for looking out for his kids.

The call wrapped with Diddy thanking Ye for remaining loyal while others he supported had abandoned him. He admitted disappointment that people he considered family weren’t there for him.

Part of this conversation appeared in a song Ye leaked called “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” featuring Diddy, North West, King Combs, and new Yeezy artist Jasmine Williams.

Ye also revealed plans to go to “war” with Kim Kardashian over North’s name trademark. He wanted North on the leaked track, but Kim opposed it and was reportedly considering requesting a judge to modify their custody arrangement. The tweet with the leaked song has since been deleted.
