Tina Knowles Seemingly Fires Back at Ye’s Comments About Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Children: ‘Ignorance and Evil’

Tina Knowles seems to have responded to Ye’s comments about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s children. The remarks in question were apparently removed from X by Ye earlier this week, though temporarily. At the time of writing, no version of the statement remained visible on Ye’s account.

Beyoncé and Solange’s mother posted a video on Instagram Wednesday, telling fans she decided to share a “corny joke” during a photo shoot for her book, Matriarch.

“What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum?” she asked in the video. “He has a meltdown. Y’all know that’s funny.”

When sharing the video, Knowles alluded to a conflict not her own in the caption.

“It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil,” she wrote. “But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is not mine, but the Lord’s. I know that God has got this.”

In a controversial X post amid numerous inflammatory remarks, Ye asked, “Wait, has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids?” before using the R-word to describe the children.

When removing the post initially, Ye admitted he did so “not because I’m a good person” but because he feared losing platform access. Elsewhere, he mentioned feeling like “the black sheep” and noted several instances where he felt personally disrespected by Jay.

“Shit hurts so fuck both of them,” he stated.

Ye has since claimed he was “asked to go to the hospital,” referencing a private mental health program that—according to its website—is “not operating in California at this time.”

As for Knowles, her last connection to Ye in the news came through a The Game collaboration tentatively titled “Tina,” which Ye previewed in February. The track reportedly began with Game sending Knowles a banana emoji DM. The song sampled Knowles’ walkout music from The Jennifer Hudson Show and quickly received a Blair Witch-style video treatment.
