Footage circulating on social media shows Iggy Azalea describing an uncomfortable “business meeting” with the artist formerly known as Kanye West, where he allegedly asked about her then-boyfriend’s penis size. Ye has now responded to the claim on X with a simple confirmation: “This is true.”
In the clip, Iggy recounts how Ye showed her “so much pornography” in a “slideshow, mood board thing” during their meeting, which also included several photos of herself. She contrasted this with other professional label meetings she’d experienced.
“This was just weird to me,” she said. “I really looked up to Kanye so it threw me off. I didn’t know what to say. So I was like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting to think that somebody that I really look up to looks at my pictures every morning for inspiration. That’s kind of cool.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, I jack off to them!’ Weird. Don’t know what to say.”
Iggy continued describing the encounter: “He was like, ‘But you’ve got a boyfriend, right?’ … I’m like, ‘Yes, I have a boyfriend.’ He’s like, ‘How big is his dick?’ Not kidding you. My face must have been like, ‘the fuck?’ He’s like, ‘You don’t gotta tell me, you don’t gotta tell me. I know it’s big.'”
Ye reportedly went on to tell Iggy (which he seems to confirm), “You gotta let your boyfriend fuck as many different girls as he can because if you’ve got a big dick, then it’s his god-given right to fuck as many women as he can.”
In a longer version of the clip, which appears to have started on Kick before spreading across social media Thursday night into Friday morning, Iggy mentions she was just 20 years old during this first-ever meeting with Ye. According to her, the meeting happened at the Staples Center after her management team received a call that Ye might be interested in signing her.
Based on Iggy noting that Ye and Jay-Z were filming a video at the arena (now known by a different name), this likely occurred in late 2011, when they were shooting footage for their Watch the Throne track “N***as in Paris” during their Los Angeles tour stop. That same year, Iggy released her Ignorant Art mixtape featuring her breakout hit “Pu$$y.”
Ye’s “This is true” confirmation comes after Iggy recently asked him to keep her and Playboi Carti’s son out of his ongoing feud with the MUSIC artist, which appeared to still be active as of Friday morning.
