Jonathan Majors reveals his legal issues negatively impacted Meagan Good’s career.
During a Friday interview on the Breakfast Club, co-host Loren LoRosa asked the Magazine Dreams actor if he was “scared or nervous” about his assault trial’s aftermath and if he worried Good might find it overwhelming.
“I told her from the jump, like, this is gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be wild,” Majors shared about his wife.
He added, “I mean, we’re in a relationship. Now we’re in a marriage, I’ll keep it straight. We have moments of, like, ‘Hey babe, it’s cool,’ you know what I mean? ‘I love you more than I can imagine, but you gotta, you know— this shit’s going down, you know? I’m Jack [from Titanic] … You let go of me and you go get it.’ That was a big thing, and she took so many hits … because of it.”
“They weren’t announcing it, but like she lost endorsements,” Majors revealed. “We got uninvited to stuff, she got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was, and they knew if Megan’s coming, J’s coming, you know, I’m coming.”
On Tuesday, a source told People that Majors and Good tied the knot in a small private ceremony at their Los Angeles home.
The couple started dating in May 2023, around when the Ant-Man actor faced misdemeanor assault and harassment charges while the Harlem star attended his court appearances.
“She’s there every day. She can reflect back to me how it’s going. I was under the ground, and she just was patient with me, and she would reflect back to me,” Majors shared with Complex News’ Jacob Kramer in a recent interview.
“She was the first person I could do that connection with fully. I can talk to her about things you don’t talk about in groups. I just bring that to her, like ‘Hey, what do you think about this?'”
