6ix9ine celebrated his freedom on Instagram Monday night.
The 28-year-old rapper shared a video featuring himself and two women helping him cut off his ankle monitor. The “TROLLZ” artist marked the occasion by rapping along to a new song and jumping into a pool.
“I’m freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ,” 6ix9ine wrote in the caption.
6ix9ine was arrested in October 2024 for violating his supervised release. CBS News reported that he struck a deal with federal prosecutors to serve one month in jail followed by three months of home detention with electronic monitoring.
Earlier this month, federal probation officers and local law enforcement raided his Florida home. According to TMZ, 6ix9ine was handcuffed for about six hours during the search, which turned up drugs and other narcotics. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the search was part of his probation process.
TMZ Hip Hop reports that while 6ix9ine has finished his home detention and can remove his ankle monitor, he remains under federal probation until November.
