Tyler, the Creator has made it clear he’s tired of fans demanding Cherry Bomb tracks at his shows.
When a fan boasted on X about launching a Cherry Bomb chant during his Chromakopia World Tour, Tyler promptly shut them down: “Chant all you want (i hope you dont, its mad annoying during the show) im not gonna play it, chanting doesnt make me magically wanna play it.”

A recent video shows Tyler, the Creator shutting down fans chanting for Cherry Bomb tracks during his concert: “I genuinely don’t know the logic of why you think that chanting that is going to sway my decision. I don’t want to play that! And most of the crowd doesn’t want me to,” he told the audience.
Regardless, Tyler added that his current tour “has been wonderful so far,” while thanking his fans.

Cherry Bomb seems to be one of Tyler’s least favorite albums because he feels it’s musically weaker than his other work. A few years back, he confessed to Jerrod Carmichael that Cherry Bomb was “hard to get into” despite featuring major artists like Ye, Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Schoolboy Q, and Roy Ayers.
He added, “I just knew if [Flower Boy] wasn’t good I would be fucked. Some people would disagree, but I was like, ‘Man, I’m nothing right now.’ ‘Cause everyone hated [Cherry Bomb], except for real music lovers who care about drums. I mean, I opened a rap album with a rock song. Most n***as is like, ‘Ugh!'”
