Joe Budden Sued by Neighbors After Indecent Exposure Incident
Joe Budden’s neighbors have filed a lawsuit against him, claiming he tried to enter their home while naked.
According to TMZ, John and Yuliya Aksoy have also named Budden’s podcast co-host Melyssa Ford and their condo association in the suit, accusing them of a “campaign of intimidation and retribution” after the Aksoys complained about the podcast.
The neighbors say they’ve raised concerns with Budden about noise levels and marijuana smoking in common areas, which they worry affects their daughter’s health.
When the Aksoys complained to the condo association, Budden allegedly called them racist and claimed to have recorded an incident of racism directed at him—though John told reporters he hasn’t heard this audio.
In December, news broke that Budden was charged with lewdness after his neighbor spotted him naked on Ring Camera footage.
Budden later joked about the incident on his podcast: “I just sleepwalked somewhere that I shouldn’t have sleepwalked. That’s what happened,” adding that he sleeps “butt-ass” naked.
Budden’s attorney, Nima Ameri, dismissed the lawsuit as “a money grab attempt by a person we believe to be a racist.”
