Jess Hilarious and Loren LoRosa Mock Their Rivalry in “The Boy Is Mine” Comedy Sketch

Jess Hilarious and Loren LoRosa have shown they’re on good terms by dropping a funny collaboration called “The Job Is Mine.”

The pair shared their parody of Brandy and Monica’s classic “The Boy Is Mine” across social media, with lyrics revolving around the coveted co-host position on The Breakfast Club that many thought Hilarious might lose.

Jess Hilarious and Loren LoRosa have proven they’re cool with each other by releasing a funny collab called “The Job Is Mine.”

The pair created a parody of Brandy and Monica’s hit “The Boy Is Mine” and shared it on social media, with lyrics about the Breakfast Club co-host position that many thought Hilarious might be losing.

The not-so-vocally-impressive parody (no offense to Hilarious and LoRosa) shows LoRosa, who filled in during Hilarious’ maternity leave, asking if she wants her job back. The joke is timely since just weeks earlier, Hilarious went on an Instagram Live rant about LoRosa still being at The Breakfast Club.

“You try coming back to work and the motherfucker is right there at your desk and ain’t nobody telling you shit, mind you,” Hilarious complained. “Before you know [it], everybody thinking you’re the villain.”

Tensions escalated when, the day after Hilarious’ rant, both appeared on The Breakfast Club to hash out their issues, seemingly agreeing they’d both have roles on the show.

“Nobody has even tried to clean up the narrative that I’m a villain,” Jess said during their talk. “I’m worried about the perception and my reputation up here on this show.”

It looks like Hilarious can keep her spot now that LoRosa has landed her own show through iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect Podcast Network. LoRosa will host a daily pop culture podcast called The Latest, premiering March 31.

Former Breakfast Club host Angela Yee recently shared her take with FOX 5: “When I initially left, they did say they were going to hire two people, so that was always the plan. I’ma be honest, I don’t know what’s being communicated to anybody.”
