Cardi B Once More Denies Accusations of Sending ‘Grown Men’ to Attack Women: ‘Enough Wit the Lies’

Cardi B is once again passionately shutting down “lies” being spread about her online. In this particular case, Cardi, who’s never shy about calling out nonsense, made it clear to fans and critics that a certain “narrative” about an incident from her past remains completely false.

“Enough wit the lies,” Cardi posted Monday after spotting an X user who claimed the Invasion of Privacy Grammy winner once “sent grown men to beat on women over this same man.” The “this same man” mentioned is likely referring to Offset, who Cardi recently accused of sending harassing messages following their latest public breakup.

“Where in my court papers does it say grown men touched any women? NOWHERE!” Cardi fired back on X Monday. “Why would I send grown men when my bitches get active and they came out and said it themselves? My co-defendants were WOMEN! Y’all got that narrative from somebody that wasn’t there!”

In a quick follow-up tweet, Cardi added more, suggesting this accusation was just another failed attempt to “ruin” her career.

Next, Cardi quickly shifted to address “another narrative” she says she had previously “let slide” – the claim that she sent women rather than men.

“If it was because of a girl messing with my ex then I would have ’bout 30 cases on me but that wasn’t the issue,” she explained. “I got into it wit them outside a hotel and I ain’t like the phone. Now was it the right thing to do?? NO! But I did the crime and I did the time.”

With the incident completely behind her now, Cardi added that she can finally “speak my truth.”

Incorrect information about the case in question, seemingly referring to an incident at a Queens strip club in 2018, has been spreading on social media for years. Monday’s X posts aren’t the first time Cardi has publicly corrected people who spread falsehoods about her.

Cardi’s highly anticipated follow-up to her 2018 album Invasion of Privacy, which was expected to drop last year at one point, is believed to be coming very soon. Back in February, she told fans the album was “complete,” though she hasn’t announced an official release date yet.
